a) What are your thoughts and feelings before you went to the area? b) What are your thoughts and feelings during the service-learning meeting?

a) I’m very happy that we had a service learning in Physiological Psychology, this is an adventure for me because going to that kind of environment is really new to me. Even though I’ve been in a community service, Pook Libis is different, because we’ve face young adult which I never been through. I’ve been in community service but for children, so here it’s really new to me.
          b) We showed them a power point presentation and we also had a game. It’s really exciting and wonderful to play with them, or seeing them playing. We all look happy and satisfied in what we are doing. I feel so blessed and lucky to them, because they are all cooperative; they are aggressive and nice young people.

a) Before we went to the area, I honestly felt that this would be difficult because this will be my first time to engage in service-learning with young adults. I thought that they might get sleepy and bored during our lecture and activities. Nevertheless, I assumed that it would be okay since one of the members of our group is already a volunteer to the area, thus, the people in the area knew her already, and so getting a good response would be of greater chance.
b) During the service-learning meeting, I was a little nervous. I was thinking that we might not do our program well and organized. I also thought that they might not participate well during the discussion. But actually, most of them participated well.

a) Before going or seeing the area I had these mixed emotions, excited to meet the sikap members, hoping that they will coordinate with us, scared that they may get bored and no longer attend to us etc. But somehow I know there will be a positive outcome, I believe that people in these areas they are very approachable and easy to deal with.
b) During the actual activity I was really nervous because at the first 30mins we only gather less than 10 young adults; at first I was really disappointed because we all prepared well for that day. Then came the others, it gave me the energy and enthusiast in presenting them our Service learning project.

a) At first I thought that the venue is too far from school and it is easier to handle MC 101 class since it’s just inside the school. However, I feel excited to meet the participants and I am wondering if they might cooperate with us. Also, I am wondering what will be their reactions in answering our questions, maybe they will find it too boring.
b) During the SL, I see that each of them have interest to our topic and they are ready to listen to us. I feel comfortable being in that place and also with the SIKAP members since they were true people. I feel their cooperation with us because when we first meet we have an open forum and they really trust us and answer our question truthfully; having an open forum with them is like having an open forum with my best friends.

a) There is no hesitation to me before going to the area, since it was almost familiar to me as an INSA volunteer. There is a feeling of excitation and longing to me since it has been a months the last time I meet the SIKAP. However, there is a thought within me saying “do SIKAP members of the area still remember me?”
b) During the SL, I still feel excited. However, I feel worry when we came in the place because there’s no one in the venue, so I’m thinking that our activity will not work. But then when the participants came, I feel happy and motivated as I see how the participants responds to each activity that we do.
